Joe Campbell (ancestral name: KatxaLacha) is a Musqueam artist who works in the Coast Salish of the Pacific Northwest indigenous people, using yellow and red cedar. He was born in 1948, on the Musqueam Reserve in Vancouver, British Columbia. Educated in the arts from Capilano College and mentored by Robert Davidson, he has been a Master carver for over 47 years and has shown at many galleries that specialize in aboriginal art.
