Stuart Gordon (1947 - 2020) was an American filmmaker, theatre director, screenwriter, and playwright. Initially recognized for his provocative and frequently controversial work in experimental theatre, Gordon began directing films in 1985 with most of his cinematic output being in the horror genre (though he also ventured into science fiction and film noir). Among his array of films are classics such as Re-Animator, From Beyond, Castle Freak, and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. Back in 2016, we did a tribute exhibit to the man himself, and Stuart Gordon graciously signed a few of the exhibit posters for us.

The poster artwork is by Michael Kelleher, a comic book professional who has worked for virtually every major comic company throughout the years, notably performing art restoration on the Marvel Masterworks books.
