Rap Families: Card Game, by Fabian Stoltz (FAB) / Artige-Bilder. 2008 set of 33 cards in plastic box. Very nice condition. Rare.
This is a cool card game based around various areas of rap and hip-hop. There are four card in each category: Ancestors, Brothers, Cofounders, Distributors, Exitus, Feminines, Godfathers, and Heirs. One card has the instructions in both English and German. I don’t quite get it, but the art is dope and it’s cool as Hell to see cards of Gil Scott-Heron, Eazy-E, and Muhammad Ali. Put out by Fabian Stoltz (FAB) / Artige-Bilder, a German design studio. I’m guessing they did not have licensing for the names/likenesses, or it was just major lowkey, as this set is nowhere to be found today.
