In celebration of his golden anniversary, this illustrated book chronicles the animated life of Donald Duck, one of Walt Disney's most famous characters.

Regarding the signature:
Paul Showalter (1940 - 2019) was an innovative artist who explored many different mediums, from poetry to painting and designing. Paul founded the Graphics and Communication Department at the new Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the first major art museum in Los Angeles, setting high standards of museum graphics throughout Southern California. A Pasadena native, designed over 30 movie posters for MGM, as well as graphics, floats, and exhibits for Disneyland and Main Street USA Disney World, Florida. He is known for designing the poster for the First International Tournee of Animation in 1970.
