My favorite Born Again Christian author/artist duo strike again! Jenny’s father leaves her mother (probably because of Jenny), and Jenny freaks out. Her dad gets a girlfriend, and her mom is bitter because she doesn’t have Dad’s paycheck anymore. Thankfully, there’s a magical talking teddy bear named Teddy who explains to Jenny that sometimes shit just happens and you can’t do anything about it. She learns that other people with both parents can be worse off than her and that makes her happy. Filled with the weird art and typical clichés we all love from Sanford & Evans (and oddly, less Jesus)…this one’s a winner!
